How to Reduce Your Energy Bills
Off Peak
Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) heating systems store enough
heat during the night, when demand for energy is low, to heat the
home throughout the day. It utilizes electricity during low usage
and off-peak hours (11 PM - 7 AM) each day to heat space and
water. It enables us to create efficiencies on
power management and cost, which we in turn pass on to you through
a special off peak rate.
Freedom
Heating
This program is
designed for our customers who currently use wood as their primary
heating system. It combines a primary system of safe, clean,
dependable electric heating with a wood backup system. Freedom
Heating service interruptions are limited to four hours per day,
only between the hours of 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
Dual Fuel
Dual Fuel uses electric heat as the primary heating source,
with a backup source (gas, oil and/or ETS) during peak demand
periods. We are able to sell our excess electricity to you at a
reduced rate if you agree to let us control during our peak demand
periods.
