Sophomores and Juniors - win a free trip!
Itasca-Mantrap will again be sponsoring one area high school student to attend the annual Youth Tour on June 14-19, 2008 in Washington, D.C. Hundreds of youth from across the United States will gather in Washington, D.C. to learn more about our Nation’s history, see American government in action and tour famous historical monuments. Students who attended this tour in the past said it was a wonderful experience and one of the best things they ever did.
The contest is open to sophomores and juniors who live in the Itasca-Mantrap service area. To be eligible for a chance to win this all-expense paid trip, students must complete an application which includes three short answer questions. Based on responses to the application, students will be asked to participate in an interview with a panel of judges. The judges will choose one applicant to represent Itasca-Mantrap in Washington, D.C.
Applications are available at our office, from your high school counselor, or can be downloaded here. After opening the application, you can fill it out on the screen, click the print button at the bottom, sign it and mail it to the address at the bottom of the application.
